Multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) has been promoted as an auxiliary diagnostic tool before prostate biopsy. Currently, prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) such as 68Ga-PSMA-11 combined with positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) are another acquaintance tool for detecting prostate cancer staging. The current meta-analysis noted a consistent detection performance between 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET and mpMRI for localized prostatic tumors and T-staging.
